UW–Madison continues to provide drop-in COVID-19 testing as part of the Safer Badgers program while also encouraging COVID-19 vaccinations.

A green Badger Badge is no longer required to access most campus spaces. However, certain spaces and events may require one. Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, should continue to follow all campus health and safety policies including wearing a mask and practicing physical distancing.

Check the campus operations webpage for status updates.

The Department of Medical History and Bioethics dates back to 1950, when the University of Wisconsin Medical School created a Department of the History of Medicine, the second department of its kind in the country.
