The Department of Medical History and Bioethics hosts or promotes a number of events each year. The History of Science, Medicine, and Technology Brown Bag series from the Department of History is routinely of interest to department scholars. The department also hosts the annual Bioethics Symposium in collaboration with the School of Medicine and Public Health Office of the Dean. 2021 Bioethics Symposium Podcast

The Department of Medical History and Bioethics produced a podcast in 2021 in lieu of a Bioethics Symposium due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This inaugural slate of episodes features SMPH bioethics faculty in conversation with leading figures on ethical issues raised by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
